I really don’t keep track on how much I spend but I do get a bit concerned when I buy something which costs the same as a decent pair of pants I can have.
I know all about costs for Pets especially when they get sick. Although many people told me to put my beloved black lab/cross down when he became diabetic then blind, I could not do it. He passed this year after 14 years, 2 months and 10 days. A good age, I am told for a healthy dog that age especially at 75 pounds. My roommate and I made his life very comfortable for the past 5 years so he was still playful and enjoyed everything even going to off leash parks! We took turns taking time off work to care for him. We lost count of the bills when they were over $56,000.
