ProbioticSmart.com Announces 6 Unsettling Facts about Pet Food

1

With many options for your pet’s food, it can be difficult to choose which is best. As we all know, price doesn’t always guarantee quality, and self-proclaimed quality isn’t always true either.

Unfortunately, these days many of the marketed pet foods are full of things that can be harmful to your pet. ProbioticSmart.com outlined six important things to remember before purchasing your pet food in the article found here.

To sum it all up, there are 6 facts to remember:

  1. Animal byproducts are not meat
  2. “MeatMeal” is made of disgusting ingredients
  3. Labels are misleading
  4. Nutrition is hard to find
  5. Gourmet doesn’t mean healthy
  6. Only your vet knows the truth

These six factors could be the defining factor in your pet’s health. Next time you’re shopping for pet food, keep them in mind. Remember to read and know the ingredients and to never trust the labels. Knowing this information will enable you to help your pet lead a long, happy and healthy life.

Devoted pet owner and now, devoted pet editor, Judi worked in traditional offices, keeping the books and the day-to-day operations organized. Taking her dog to work every day for over a decade never seemed odd. Neither did having an office cat. She knows what it's like to train a new puppy and she's experienced the heartache of losing beloved companions. Retired, she currently lives with her spoiled dog and four chickens (who are, interestingly enough, also spoiled).
