Can My Dog Eat Raspberries?

Just like their humans, dogs enjoy snacking on fresh fruit, and whether it’s added to their meal or given as a treat, it’s perfectly fine to share some of your healthy snack with them. Fruits such as berries not only taste good but also provide some great health benefits. But like any other time we feed human food to our canines, it’s important to do so in moderation.

Can My Dog Eat Raspberries?

Yes, dogs are allowed to eat raspberries but in moderate amounts. This fruit contains antioxidants that are great for dogs, especially seniors, because they have anti-inflammatory properties which can help alleviate any pain in their joints.

Fruit should be given to dogs in its natural state; just because you enjoy your berries with a side of cream or dipped in chocolate does not mean dogs should have it that way, too.

While raspberries can be safe and a healthy option for your dog to eat, there are rules to abide by when feeding these sweet little treats.
