One of the pets blogs I frequent, Gandalf and Grayson, posted a story about Blackie and Little Jim today that makes my heart sick. It makes my stomach turn so much so that I nearly couldn’t read the original story in the Valdosta Daily Times.
There were 3 cats in the story, one of which had to be euthanized and two of which are alive but have suffered severe 3rd degree burns. The two that are alive are 8 month old kittens – and what’s worse – it doesn’t appear to be accidental.
