New & Improved

0

Back on May 23rd I noted that I was remodeling and now, June 2, I’d like to note that I appreciate everyone ignoring the dust while I chipped away at the 9,000+ spam comments and posts that needed to be weeded out.

I’ve recently taken over the blog for three reasons:

  1. I’d found it useful a long time ago when I had some trouble with my Appaloosa who refused to make left turns. I’d point to the post and comments for that article, but it seems it’s no longer even here… which leads me to point #2…
  2. The blog was in desperate need of some general maintenance, updating, and basic loving-care.
  3. When I first encountered PetsBlogs.com (via some search results when I was looking for tips and tricks for working with Beebee, the aforementioned stubborn Appaloosa), I expected PetsBlogs to feature Pets’ Blogs (I’m a rather literal person sometimes). I find that I’m drawn to a lot of pets blogs and what better place to review some of my favorites.

New Category: Featured Pets Blogs!
So I’ve added a new category and already have some of my favorites lined up for a review. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Hopefully I’ve managed to provide an entirely fresh, much-needed update to what was already a great resource for information about pets in all shapes and sizes without loosing the essence of the original blog. The information, what was left, has all been kept from the original database but I’m still in the process of reviewing, sprucing it up, and getting rid of anything inappropriate. So I still ask that you pardon the dust while I continue with cleaning out the cages and rearranging the furniture in my new home.

If you find anything that needs attention posted in the pages of this blog, please contact me and let me know!

Thanks,

About Author

Devoted pet owner and now, devoted pet editor, Judi worked in traditional offices, keeping the books and the day-to-day operations organized. Taking her dog to work every day for over a decade never seemed odd. Neither did having an office cat. She knows what it's like to train a new puppy and she's experienced the heartache of losing beloved companions. Retired, she currently lives with her spoiled dog and four chickens (who are, interestingly enough, also spoiled).
